Dialectics of the Heart
starring Sharon Lawrence and Nicholas Gonzalez

Intellect and Passion. Certainty and Doubt. Ethics and Moral Compromise. Restraint and Freedom. Within every set of opposites lies its dialectical center, the cauldron out of which emerges a new reality. It is into this cauldron that Elizabeth Drewer (Sharon Lawrence), Professor of Philosophy steps. The catalyst is her iconoclastic new teaching assistant, Richard Amado (Nicholas Gonzalez). When their two worlds of mind and heart collide, something has to give. And give it does.
In this provocative new drama set within the academic world of philosopy, passions are kindled, moral lines are blurred, and deep convictions are reexamined. The words of philosophers from the past ring with contempory truth as Elizabeth and Richard struggle to unite within a new whole, their own dialectical dilemma.
